My chemical romance fans, and I guess Avril fans...is this true?

Okay. Some person on youtube was all " MCR accuses avril of stealing music" so I told her to prove it. Here;s what she said.

"search my chemical romance's song "welcome to the black parade" and avril lavignes "keep holding on".
they did accuse her.
and what do you mean by, your being literate with me??"

So, I came here. I don't think nor believe that My Chemical Romance would do that, but I'm an opened minded person, so why not ask? Anyway if you're going to answer a YES please: PROVE IT with solid facts, like an article or something

her girlfriend song sounded alot like an old song.....there was one song but i forgot the title....just the chorus part

They sound kind of similar but not that much. And whats going to happen now, that they accused her? MCR is gonna tell her to take her song back?!

Why does it matter?
First off, all music nowadays sounds the same anyway.
And second, they're both crappy artists. So why should anyone care?

I personally haven't found anything that states that My Chemical Romance is accusing of Avril Lavigne of stealing. It's just some obsessive fan who created links to a specific part in a music video, but neither song sound anything near each other. So I'm going to have to say no and for the people who have no life then to try to bring people down it's getting really old.

I'm an MCR fan and I've never heard anything like that before. Besides, MCR isn't like that- even if it was true, they wouldn't go all out to say something mean about her, true or not. They can handle haters (which is not something easy) and I'm sure MCR mind their own business.

Also, does that 'person on YouTube' have a proof of any sort? And I'm not saying that person is lying or anything; it's just that these days people spread rumours.

I don't believe it because I haven't heard or seen anything about that issue before.

I didn't hear anything about that; it's probably not true though. MCR stay out of other people's business as much as they can and they're cool.

Ohmygod that is so shocking!I never heard anything about MCR accusing Avril but I wouldn't be surprised if they did!I mean,as much as I'm trying to ignore it,the similarities of the songs in the video from the url are way too coincidental.But then again,MCR doesn't seem like the accusing sort.They're really cool and open-minded.Well all I can say is that I now think Avril is a talentless has-been.Wait,I think that had already become reality since the horror of Girlfriend.*shudder* MCR,rock on.This only shows their songs are so good,people actually want to rip off them.

You do realize that the person who made the video on YouTube made the video up. Just because they think someone stole someone elses songs doesn't mean anything. And a lot of songs use the exact same chords, take Rap for instance, all of it sounds the same. But when you have thousands of artists in this world, eventually something is going to get copied. It's not even that much alike, that girl pointed out 2 similarities that lasted for about 3 seconds. The beginning and one word was copied. I think you have to have a little more than that to accuse someone of stealing it. And MCR hasn't said anything about it, if it doesn't bother them, don't let it bother the fans either. I love MCR better, of course, but give Avril a break, it's not like she purposely used a word from their song! If 2 songs started off with the first 3 chords being the same, and you didn't like the band you wouldn't care. But since you like MCR so much, you're first action is to defend them, in this case it is for a stupid reason. And the person that made that video isn't even famous, she just made a video because she was bored. She just likes to watch fans bash eachother, and everyone who is fighting about this is really bored, you are too blind to see the truth, or you just hate one of the people. It doesn't matter people get over it. Enough said.
