What do you think is Metallica's most UNDERrated song in your opinion?

I love their song Astronomy, but i don't hear it anywhere and nobody ever talks about it. Astronomy has my vote for most underrated.

also, what do you think is their most overrated?

the most overrated songs are Nothing Else Matters and Enter Sandman

The most underrated are very great songs Four Horsemen and Motorbreath

OVERrated: Enter Sandman (followed closely by Nothing Else Matters. Totally wimped out & those are the songs that even grandma can get into)

Underrated. tougher for me to answer, I sorta skipped over their mid 90s stuff. But y'know what? I'll go out on a limb & say much of St. Anger. That album really did rock & yet it was so slammed by most.

I think One is their most underrated song. It's amazing but still, it's not very popular just because it isn't normal metallica.

I am a huge fan of the "Load" CD and all of the songs on it are good, but two of my favorite songs on the CD have to be "Cure" and "Thorn Within" and those songs have to be, in my opinion, the most underrated Metallica songs ever.

As far as my pick for the most overrated, that goes to "Enter Sandman".

I think "Fight Fire With Fire" from Ride The Lightning. To me, it's up there with all the great Metallica songs but it hardly gets a mention which is a shame because it's a thrash metal classic.

I have so many Metallica songs on my computer it's hard to decide (I'm listening to them right now even ^_^) I'm going to go with Whiskey in the Jar for under rated. Over rated would have to be Battery (I like this song but a bit over rated for me)

Astronomy is not a Metallica song. It's Metallica doing a cover of a Blue Oyster Cult song
Astronomy is the centerpiece track of Blue Oyster Cult's magnum opus "Secret Treaties"
Metallica covered it for the album "Garage Inc"
which is an album of all cover songs from some of the greatest Metal bands of all time.
My pick for an underrated Metallica tune would be from that album as well
I would choose Metallica's cover of Diamond Head's "It's Electric"
It's brutal, punishing, and louder than hell. I love that song.

Underrated: Motorbreath

"Until It Bleeds" from Load, I think.
