What is with a lot of people's obsession with Queen? They really weren't that great!?

Yeh I agree they aren't that great.

you can't deny that Freddy Mercury was an amazing performer and some of there music was very innovative. It seems to me the obsession on here is the posers who only know Bohemian Rhapsody and call themselves true fans.

Freddy Mercury was the ultimate showman. I think the fact that he was gay helped with the allure for many. Personally, I this his voice in quite unique and the band could play.

Well a lot of people went for the glam and other sort of stuff. I think Freddie Mercury was pretty good. I'm not there greatest fan but I like a few songs

They influenced a lot of bands from a lot of music genres!

You can't deny Freddie.
You can't deny Bohemain Rhapsody's guitar solo.
You can't deny Another One Bites the Dust's bass line.
You can't deny the drums on We Will Rock You.


You can't deny Queen.

i agree with above you can't deny that they werent great in their own way. in a way that has influenced many musicians today. there were great, just not your definition of great music.
