If you could meet any One person from rock history who would you choose to meet and why?

Guitarist, singer, drummer, whatever you name it. If you could choos to meet any one person from rock history who would it be and why? I would choose to meet Randy Rhoads because he is like my idol for wanting to play guitar

Keith Richards. He's one of the most intelligent, articulate, down to Earth rockers I can think of, in spite of having done enough drugs to kill a stable full of horses (even though, having read Ronnie Wood's biography I think Woody might actually have Keith beat in that department!) All that, and he's also one of the great rhythm guitarists of all time...Keith Richards has done more with three chords than most can with thirty! Big influence on my own playing...if nothing else I'd just like to shake his hand and thank him for so much great music.

And it would have to happen damn quick, 'cos, from everything I've read recently, I don't think Keith's going to be with us much longer...his health is finally starting to fail, to the point where it's adversely affecting his playing...even Ron Wood admits Keith hasn't been the same since he 'fell out of tree'...

hendrix.
i'd tell him to calm down on the drugs a bit, then he might be here now

jimi..i'd tell him to just say no!!! imagine what that guy could be today

jim morrison, true legend. My reason because he was hot, amazing talented and hes my idol

John Lennon.

He was amazing <3

Do they have to be dead?

Because, i'd choose Tom Morello from Rage against the machine, simply to tell him how much he rocks! :]

Bill Haley or Elvis Presley. They basically started it all.

Jim Morrison, to sit down chat and party with would be awesome.

Greg Allman because if you know his music and you know his story it is very touching. And because he is totally awesome. I also like Randy Rhodes because we have the same last name.

does he have to be dead??

whell if not Slash

Bon Scott. He was the man. He died too soon, as did alot of other talented musicians.

Neil Young<-- not dead

I'd ask him, "Neil WTF did you shoot by the river?"

:D

I would say Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, but I already had the honor of meeting him.

That out of the way, I think I would choose David Bowie, not just because of his roll in rock history, but because I like more of his songs than most other artists.

I'd love to meet Rick Wakeman for the same reason You want to meet Randy Rhodes
Wakeman is a keyboardist like Me. I'd love to meet Him and We could jam on some Yes songs, which would be pretty sweet. He could play the synth parts and I would play the piano parts or vice versa.

Any one form rock hisotry. Ok ok while no will agree I'm going Johnny Cash. He is the ORIGINAL bad boy of music. He bursted onto the scene when all there was Gospel. They all told him he would never go any where and that his music was evil. He started the musicwe know now. He revolutionized music for the years to come. Yep while he may not be seen as rock I would still go Johnny cash, even though I'm a huge metal fan.
