lupa4ever; oh i agree, it's stunning. Hmmm. This is a tough one...Slash was my inspiration to start playing guitar when I was younger, I even bought a Les Paul! Here are some of my favorite post GNR Slash guitar solos:

but Slash was in G'N'R. or i'm mistaken, if yes my apologies. he did a jazz song called obsession confession and I thought it was a beautiful song. GODFATHER THEME I like the solo in November Rain and in Civil War

slash is amazing Sad but I only know Slash by G and R. Have you heard of a blind artist called Jeff Healey from Canada by any chance? He's up on you tube if you do a search and his guitar playing is great. Sorry didn't really answer your question there. Just listening to the two of them again, the intro to Fall to Pieces is very similar to the start of the solo on Beggers. Cinnamon! How could you do this to me?! I can't /possibly/ choose ONE favorite Slash solo!!
If I had to however, it would be the following :
Fall to Pieces ; VR. Like I said before, a lot of VR songs have a GNR-ish sound, and this one is definitely one of them.. except he takes it to a new level.
His cover of Led Zeppelin's No Quarter with Slash's Blues Ball. He changes it around so much but without actually changing the notes that it feels like he really made it his own. Plus, he always smiles when he plays, or used to smile whenever he played it. I think its so cute x
I Hate Everybody (But You) & Life's Sweet Drug, both by Slash's Snakepit, are lovely. There's so much feeling put into them that whenever anybody says he has no feeling when he plays I tell them to take those two songs, listen to them, and the come talk to me.
