However, three-chord bands can be good. Most of those bands are punk rock, and the Ramones are excellent. Emo sucks though. beatles, rolling stones, jimi hendrix, pink floyd, the who, queen, muse, oasis, led zeppelin, bob dylan, i could go on and on... Aerosmith! scorpion!!! Here are my favorite truly talented bands
1. Metallica- One hell of an awesome band, they are rock gods
2. Van Halen- One true 80s rock band that kick assed in the 80s, and still do. These guys are legends.
3. Godsmack- Same as number 1, they are rock gods, and are truly talented.
4. Korn- Another talented rock band
5. Linkin Park- Now this band is truly talented, they can rock, and rap at the sametime, Linkin Park is just like 311, and The Beastie Boys, and Kid Rock back in his 90s.
6. 311- Very talented rock band, rap/ rock gods just like number 5, their cover of Sublime's What I Got was freakin awesome.
7. Flyleaf- This band is freakin awesome, their hits are very cool, and the lead singer kicks ***.
8. Rob Zombie- Now although his music is devil like music, Rob Zombie is still a talented singer, his hits are awesome, and his band White Zombie kicks *** too.
9. 3 Days Grace- Now these guys are truly talented, they are rock gods of the new millennuim. rock on 3DG.
10. Disturbed- A truly talented badass rock band, they are also rock gods of the new millennuim.
11. 3 Doors Down- Now this band is truly talented, their hits are amazing, they rock, and are rock gods, and will probably be in the hall of fame of rock in the future.
12. Rammstein- A powerful talented band that is badass. they are pyro gods.
13. U2- This band is truly talented as well, their hits are awesome. They too will be in the future rock of fame.

The Clash-real punk rock! I would have to say either Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden are my favorites. queen
