What band do you hate the most, and why?

I am truly disappointed in todays music. I honestly can't even listen to 95% of it. It lacks any talent whatsoever. I don't know what it will take to change the industry, but the fact that MTV and every aspect of todays pop culture is so influenced by rap, hip hop, etc, is making me ill. All of that music is a waste of airtime.
In the eighties and early nineties, music was much more diverse. Now it seems if you can coin a new dance name, or some dumb slang for jewelry or women, you are suddenly a freaking superstar. Give me a break! METAL RULES! RIP Dimebag!!!!!

I don't think I HATE any band. But I strongly dislike bands that make music for the sole purpose of making money.

Nickelback. I don't think this needs an explanation so I'll provide a very brief one. His voice actually hurts my ears and I literally cannot stand listening to any of their songs. Also, Hinder. No talent.

I may sound like a broken record, but I truly dislike MCR with such a passion. However, it's not their talentless music that makes me dislike them. They have a way of turning their fans into militant, elitist, brainwashed people. Some of the larger fan clubs seem like cults. And, like all cults will do, one of their members will "phone home" after seeing this answer, and I'll be "thumbed-down" into oblivion, like so many other times.
