Am I the only one that is depressed?

In this world, Nickelback has fame and money and everyone knows their songs.

Yet, Of Montreal is virtually unheard of by the public.

It's really depressing, actually.

Maybe depressed isn't the right word.

what's depressing is these mediocre artists getting record deals everyday, while talented and respectful people get looked over!

Is it a sad state of affairs? Sure. Worth getting depressed over? Not really. I know I don't lose sleep over it and this is coming from someone who despises Nickelback.

Whats really ironic is that Nickelback sings the song Rockstar. I think its supposed to be ironic, actually. And no, you're not the only depressed one. I love Of Montreal, especially their song I Was Never Young.

Yeah right if everyone loved your music then all you guys would lose your sense of superiority.
Your only happy if your complaining which is cool, me too, but dont pretend that you want your little name drop indie band to be famous because you would just turn on them anyways

People like Linkin Park and Nickelback because they're simple, be happy you are complicated

yes, but the important thing here is that Of Montreal is awesome and that you enjoy them. If Of Montreal were played on bland radio stations and liked passively by non-music appreciaters, who go to the shows and like 3 songs, THEN we can be depressed.
