AND ITS JUST A QUESTION, you dont have to go on about how stupid i am!!! They don't suck. Don't get me wrong, I don't like emo music in general, but for them to have that much of a fan base, they wouldn't suck.
There are people who don't like emo music, like myself, but they tend to say whatever they don't like must suck. What they fail to say is that "Emo music, in my opinion, isn't what I would listen to." Instead, they take it a step further, making their opinion forceful by saying "All emo music sucks."
It's forceful opinions that start stupid disputes. It's ignorant, really.
(You also realize people who are actually speaking their minds are getting negative reviews because people don't like others speaking out. lmfao So sad.) Well, in my opinion, they're okay...(though i don't really listen to them that much..but still)
Also don't forget Hun!..Different people have got different choices... =) I think a lot of people stop liking certain bands just because they become popular...
But in my opinion, Fall Out Boy sounds like any other pop punk band, like Panic! At the Disco, to name one. A lot of their songs sound the same as well.
MCR is great though, lots of variety in the moods of their songs. Fal out boy is irritating and annoying, and i hate that singers voice, and MCR is boring, unoriginal and wannabe marilyn manson Idk about FOB but MCR is awesome! here here creeper i hate emo bands because they are a craze and have no musical talent. They are taking advantage of teenage depression which makes me angry. they have taken Boy band/pop and given it a new genre. Songs are supposed to be about true meaning when MCR is the only one with true emotional experience that's the reason why.
just because someone doesn't like your taste in music it doesn't mean they don't have a life. i agree, people should stop going on about how much they hate them, but this is only adding fuel to the fire.
Fall Out Boy sold out, Pete Wentz is the biggest prat in the music business right now and his lyrics are all disgusting. I dont really listen to them, theyre just too out there for me.

also the two bands you have mentioned have a very manic type fan base that have fans that are very vocal about their like of their music and tend to make fun of someone if they don't like the band which of course annoys ppl that previously prob didn't care about the band Fall Out Boy sounds like every other band out there. They have no creativity whatsoever, they just churn out crappy song after crappy song all which sound the same.
My Chemical Romance isn't that bad. But their fans are. I like Fall Out Boy and MCR. Well some people have lost interest in them since they gained success. Largely because both bands are more mainstream then they were previous to the big releases. And their music has changed a bit, but every band's music does at some point.
In my opinion I like MCR just the same as i did when they released their first album. Because i find that now their music is very diverse, every song on the black parade has a different sound and mood to it.
I can say that i'm not as interested in FOB as i used to be though. Because i find the new album not as good as previous cds. I don't mind FOB's new album, but it's not the same FOB that i listened to before.
That's just my opinion though, everyone has different views and feelings towards both bands.
