OK, I went to Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' website, added the digital download to my basket, filled in all the info that said "red star", which I assume means "required", and submitted. I typed in all the necessary credit card stuff, and got to the page where it says "you have not yet placed your order" and "read the terms and conditions, type in the security code [to make sure you're a real person and not a computer] and click "place order " at the bottom of the page. I filled in the security code, read the terms & conditions, and there was no place order button at the bottom of the page. I might go back and try again later today if someone can explain why this doesn't work. Is it because I didn't type in a landline phone number? (that box wasn't marked 'red star') Oh yeah, and I double-checked to make sure the info was correct. I also made sure the webpage was done loading. Please help me! When I ordered the box set last month, I was declined also. It turned out my credit card company was declining the transaction because it was an out of country sale and they needed verification from me to process it. After that was cleared up, I was emailed a link, downloadable only once, and they will mail the box to me. If you are trying to order this, they may be sold out, they will not be making more (I got an email from w.a.s.t.e.)
I just checked the download site and it looks like it's still up and running, although rumor has it they will be closing it soon, like in hours.
They will be releasing the box set with the free download and more new songs next month. I had some problems myself when I was downloading it, although it was a while ago so I can't remember exactly what they were. I got it eventually just by trying again, so all I can say is keep trying. I got an email from the company running the website today saying that the site will be shut down tomorrow, so if you want to download it, you should do it before then. Good luck. |
