Now That's What I Call Music!?

I enjoy listening to the 'Now' CDs because of the cinematic song sequencing, usually not for the selection of songs. For example, the CD starts with often fast-paced and party-starting songs, drifts into a soft, generally melancholy section, and then emerges into more meaningful rock songs to end the CD. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I feel like I'm the only person in the world who appreciates this.

I wouldn't doubt that they put the sequence mood right, but they may as well have named them all "Now That's What I Call MAINSTREAM" I can make a now CD with the same song sequencing with even better music artists that don't drown in their own fame and music.

No your not. I apperiate it too! I love now CD's. My fav is now 5 it has old song but it is the best of them all!

i don't listen to now, but i know what you're talking about.
i'm not usually one for mellow, synthesized music, but i really appreciate the thought they put into their song transitions and the way they just kind of make it...flow. :)
