Who thinks Fall Out Boy is emo?

Everyone who likes them says they aren't but they are, I hate Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance and all of that other emo crap!!!! Who's with me?

Why can't music just be music? Sure, there is rock, pop, country, rap and so on. But how do you classify all these other so-called categories. You have punk emo, ska and so on. Music is music, who really cares what kind it is?

Sure, they're what is marketed as emo.
Personally I am into real emo and screamo music, and they're newer stuff just isn't either. They're older stuff was, but they don't play anything like that anymore.
They lost most of my respect for them when they released F.U.C.T.

Fall Out Boy is not emo...they're considered scene.

I am a fan, but I will say that emo kids do tend to like FOB. The lyrics that FOB have are pretty emo, but the band members themselves don't strike me as emo. As for the lyrics and fan base, most defiantly emo.
