Is a fender strat standard from mexico any good? |
how is it i need an opinion Any Strat is a magnificent piece of guitar. With any Strat the differences from Squier to American are dramatic but suttle differences. As with anything "the more you pay the more you play." If you can at least afford the standard(mexican) ... GO for it! It is an excellent guitar that can be upgraded very easily with MOST of the American series qualities. not as good as a USA better than a Squire. Not as good as made in USA but better then the ones made in Asia. Yes it is Ive been playing one for 13yrs and I have not changed anything I also have a new US one it plays & sounds the same and cost a hell of a lot more . yep...they are all made under license all over the world!...and priced up according to the cost of "Local" labour?...I guess Americans earn more than mexicans?... All you're paying for is labor. In my opinion there is no difference except for about 600 dollars. Take this into consideration, the Fender factory in Mexico is forty miles south of the American border, and eighty miles away from the American factory. So what's the difference in the end? |
