Music that I can study to?

Let me assure you that I cannot listen to "quiet and calm" music when I study.

I want lots of electirc guitar, bass, drums, anything with an awesome beat that will keep me up! (alternative/rock/indie please!)

Newer songs are much appreciated!
But if you have some oldies but goodies... list those too!

Thanks! Good luck to anyone else who's going through Finals Hell.

I know I am. =)

Taylor Swift is not rock/alternative.

i love blink 182, and i study and read to that all the time.
plus 44, paramore, three days grace, fall out boy..
anything like that works great for me.

plus 44 and paramore are both alternitave/indie rock.

try taylor swift! all her music has a great beat! ;)

R.E.M.! (their 80s stuff) i listen to their albums "murmur" and "reckoning" all the time when i study and it definitly helps me. its not to distracting, but its not "quiet and calm".
also, if you like them, listen to The Smiths (one of my favorites)

thoes are the "oldies" lol
for new music listen to bloc party, the shins and arcade fire

three days grace

I listen to MetallicA when i do my homework

I usually listen to FOB when I study/do homework.

It helps me.

:D

A couple of band's I've been listening to lately that might be what your looking for,
