Is the Final Countdown the new Don't Stop Believing?

I don't even know what show it was..the hills or whatever that made Don't Stop Believing popular with teens, but now I am seeing this Final Countdown craze everywhere....where did this come from?

I SO don't get this recent fascination w/ that lousy song. Europe were a one hit hair band. Is it b/c of that new singing game show that uses the tune for a segment?

At least Journey not only had a string of memorable songs, but a long career before they went top 40 in the 80s. Europe were 5 or 6 losers cashing in on the hair scene. They literally came outta nowehere in the mid 80s. Just when the hair metal thing was reaching saturation.

Don't Stop Believin' was made popular again because it was in the final episode of The Sopranos.

The Final Countdown is having a revival because of the TV show The Singing Bee.

No clue...everyone @ my school is having the song stuck in their heads...but hey, song's good.

dont watch tv...but yea Dont Stop is a great Journey song.. are you talking about Europe's Final Countdown??? wow.. old memories...my 11 yr old saw Herbie fully loaded and I believe it had a VH song...their my fave band:)

Europe was a bunch of big hair posers. Final Countdown has got to be one of the worst songs that have ever been made.

Don't stop believing is a ballad, which I mostly don't like, but at least it isn't a piece of crap cheeseball song like Final Countdown.

To Me "Don't Stop Believing" is the hunk of overplayed overprocessed Velveeta crap
And "The Final Coutdown" is a hella cool song
I haven't had Europe crammed down My throat by truly massive radio overplay in these past twenty years as I most assuredly have had Journey done.
