Why do you like My Chemical Romance???

They have great sound, meaningful lyrics, and great guys.

u dont have to like em cuz everybodi else does and u dont need for others to tell u y they like them u need to know y u would like them your self listen to black parade sum songs in there r funny just listen u dont hve to em like hip hop i listen to it but i dont hve to love it or for others to tell my y they like it

Well you don't have to think they're any good. I'm pretty sure that some of the artists you listen to are pretty crappy, at least when I'm comparing them to my tastes, but that really shouldn't matter, because no matter what I'll like MCR. You don't have to, that leaves more music for me to enjoy. I like them because of their lyrics, I can relate to them, I can quote them, I can laugh to them and Cry to them and they've all helped me through difficult times. It's a rarity I assure that people actually listen to the lyrics of the songs and decipher the meanings for themselves. They're an awesome band all around and I couldn't imagine my life without them. BTW music is not about a popularity contest.

Why MCR fans like MCR has just the say reason to why you like everything else. Different people, different perspectives and different opinions. You may argue that your idols are way better and such, but hey, out of a bunch of people, who gives a hoot to the opinions? I've listened to them. Their lyrics are good, you can relate to them. Read it deeper. I'm not a major fan of theirs, but I like the way they are. They created the band with only one dream - to make a better world. & I believe they did it. Their songs are really, amazing. (: Just listen and read the lyrics at the same time, hope you'll get what I mean. :D &Yeah, after that you can start appreciating their faces. :D They are just way..wooh! :D

i love MCR for they lyrics.u shld realy read it & listen to their songs.They make good msic too.I wasnt in love with them wen their 1st album came out,,,the 2nd one was a kick-off..a start of the real MCR.I love them..Gerard Way is HOT!!

im making it short cus im tired of repeating myself.

I love them. their my favorite band. because they are good role models, inspirational, they care about their fans, they write amazing songs, the lyrics are very unique. Gerard's voice is indescribably good. the guitar solos and riffs are great too. theres nothing not to like about this band. they dont sound like the bands out today they sound more like the older bands. i love them because they introduced me to music. not only theirs but other like queen, beatles, iron maiden, misfits, anthrax, trex, david bowie, pink floyd, led zep, smashing pumpkins, etc....i love them because their music means something and they aren't singing for the money. i love their performances and live and i love that they aren't a studio band. they are the real deal. thier music has been there for me through the good and bad. they taught me to be myself and not to care what others think. i use to be a push over but MCR has helped me stand up for myself, to be tolerant towards people that are different, and other things. and the list goes on. they only way for you to try to understand why us mcr fans love mcr is if you think of your favorite band and y you love them so much. you dont have to like them. im just sayin i like them my opinion my musical taste.

ok,we get it. some people like MCR. some people don't. fair enough. just stop with the incessant questions..(not a rant aimed at you. just a rant about MCR loving/hating questioins in general.)
i like MCR because they helped me througha lot of things, things i'd rather not go into detail right here. their lyrics are gorgeous and capture emotions perfectly, Gerard's voice makes me smile and i love the way the music fits together. i know they've influenced a lot of people too. without them i wouldn't have decided to take up playing bass. i just wanted to do something, even a tiny thing, to change people's lives, or even just mine. i know there's no point in just sitting back and letting life happen, you have to take control *cheesy* and i learnt that through MCR. ^.^

i have a better question... why the hell are all these mcr haters spendidng their time answering questions about them and dissing them i just truly and honestly dont get it
