What does "Dimmu Borgir" mean and what is your favorite song by them?

i can't remember what it means. my favorite song is "eradicated instincts defined"(orchestral version).

My favorite song is probably Progenies of the Great Apocalypse or Puritania..

They took the name from lava pits in Iceland and "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse" is a good song
