I personally only listen rock, so i can give you some bands.. i don't know what kind of rock do you like, but my favorites are Evanescence, Rammstein, Underoath (which is more like screamo), The Used, AC/DC (a rock band from the 80's), Nightwish, Iron Maiden...
Those bands aren't really rock, but something like rock-metal XP
