Who has the better mind, Chris Cornell or Kurt Cobain?

I meant in a musical point of view not lifestyle...

Kurt Cobain did..NO DOUBT!
I must say, that even on drugs, he was able to piece together a rational thought.

His lyrics are self evident. The music might have been grunge but the words were on a much deeper level.

You had to read between the lines to understand what he was trying to convey.
But once those words became clearer, it was easy to see and feel what he intended you to get out of it.

Obviously Chris Cornell. Kurt Cobain was so messed up he killed himself...

cornell. at least hes not stupid enough to kill himself. :D hes still making money and is not left behind in a dead genre.

better mind, Chris Cornell cause he is still alive and didnt kill himself which proves he was more ok in the head. But talent wise, Cobain had him by a long shot

Since he's still around you kind of have to go with Cornell. I don't think his musical talent is as good as Kurt's though.

It sucks that Kurt couldn't hang. Life sometimes kicks your *** and unless you are able to pull yourself out of the funk afterwards you better have some good people who realize it and help.

Kurt Cobain, Kurt was a musical genius. His writing, along with some help of a certain music video, single handedly killed 80's metal. It sucks because he never gets credit for it but Nirvana was the most musically important band probably since the Beatles. Cobain single-handedly spawned the grunge scene and influenced a generation of youths by doing so. Cornell never did something so innovative, he ran along with Soundgarden and the grunge scene, he tagged along with Rage Against the Machine after they kicked Zach out and he completely ruined that band and now he's doing his solo thing. Nothing to take away from Cornell because he is an amazing vocalist and I love Soundgarden, but I feel that Cobain was by far a more brilliant musical genius.

Kurt Cobain, he may have been messed up but at least he sung what was in his heart, and that's really deep man.

Chris Cornell is an amazing lead singer and a better musician the only reason people like Cobain is because he led the grunge era which I admit is pretty spectacular but if Soundgarden Would've been found before Nirvana then they would be the ones everyone associates with Grunge it's just luck of the draw I guess
