Would or do you listen to a band if...?

..if you saw a photo and one of the members had a shirt of one your favorite bands on?

I personally would give them a listen or two.

Most definitely because usually bands take there sound from all of their favorite bands and make it their own so i would definitely look into the band.
I also do it if it's the other way around, if a band i like is wearing a band t-shirt i dont know or talk about a band they like i check it out.
I've found out about a lot of really good bands that way.

For sure. I would at least give them a chance. Also, if there is a band I have never heard and I hear a lot about them, I will always look them up and give them a listen.

yea id give it a try. might as well, they apparently have good taste in music or a good inspiration...

Maybe I would too. I mean, if they're wearing a shirt of one of my favorite bands it could mean that they're influenced by them, so they have something in common when it comes to music. But it doesn't have to be so.

well ya, i have, the first time i seen avenged sevenfold on tv in an interview, synyster gates was wearing a slayer t shirt

i had been listening to story of the year for a lil bit but l8er on i seen them on tv and seen them w/ an ac/dc shirt

there have been a few other bands that i have seen wearing a shirt w/ a good band on that i have listened too

there was a local band around here that i had never listened to, i seen them at a fair, the lead singer was wearing a ted nugent shirt, the guitarist was wearing a hell yeah shirt so i knew it was going to be a good band just for the shirts they were wearing...

I've def' done that. That's often a visual clue as to what you'll be getting. Happened when I discovered Black Stone Cherry. The drummer was wearing a Zeppelin tee in the liner note pics.

Maybe they got inspired from that band and they might have the same tune in their music.. which means I might like them!

Knowing that they listen to that kind of music, I'd think it'd influence theirs.

Yeah we have similar tastes in music it's worth a shot and I'm always looking for new bands there are just so many and you know I'm pretty picky about my music too almost to a fault sometimes

Yes that would give me hope and the artist would most likely have similar music taste as mine and probably made music similar to my musical taste that I can appreciate.

yeah i would, another example is when bands cover other bands songs at concerts and u hear good things about it (not FOB'S sinful try at pantera's "walk" ) but like breaking benjamin does some godsmack songs at concerts and i am a huge fan of godsmack and i heard breaking benjamin really respected and did good with godsmacks music so i thought why the hell not? i discovered i do like breaking benjamin...so yeah if a band respects a band right ,like i do ,then hell yeah ill give em a try.....

yep. Which is why most bands wear the free shirts that other bands & clothing companies give them.

Absolutely! that's how I found Escape the Fate! My friend had a picture of them on her binder and Max was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt, so I looked them up and fell in love!

One would think that if the band was wearing another band's shirt, they would like them and/or be inspired by them....

Yes I would i feel like its a good thing for bands to support other band, if their big,or small.
