Girl power?

okay if you HAD to pick between these bands, which would you say has the BEST female vocalist?
1. Evanescence
2. Within Temptation
3. Lacuna Coil
4. Paramore
5. Flyleaf

it may seem unusual for me, but i actually agree with ALL of you. i love each of these bands, but they do also have "quirks" i could do without
1.evanescence-beautiful lyrics and music, but they do get whiny sometimes
2.within temptation-amazing voice, probably the best female vocalist of the lot, but some songs do not have enough "edge"
3.lacuna coil-some songs are great, others suck. nuff said
4.paramore- i used to hate this group because of her high pitch, but the songs are just so damn catchy
5.flyleaf- love the songs, could do without the screaming, it's too reminiscent of kittie

Well Evanescence is mainstream as hell but Amy Lee,she's just so talented there's no denying it,she has such a pure voice and is classically trained,I dont own any albums but if they put out an acoustic album I'd be on it just to hear her voice without all that stuff behind it distorting it,yeah I listen to metal but even I can admit it she's amazingly good but I'm going to catch hell for this answer but I'm sticking to my guns here she's good even if others want to slam her she's still very talented

Honestly, I think Evanscene is wonderful but I'd say her voice is too high.

Paramore is beautiful, haley's voice is well balanced.

I personally only know these bands cause my sister likes them so I'd have to say 1.Evanescence has the best vocalist of the 5

The only one I've heard is Evanescence, but there are *far* greater female vocalists in other {not on your list} bands.
