Are there any bands that use their name as a lyric in one of their songs?

I just noticed that in Bring Me The Horizon's song "Re: They Have No Reflections" towards the end of the song, they actually say
"Do not change the subject,
Let's go chase the sunset,
Bring me the horizon,
Bring me the horizon,
Now"

Anyway, I just thought that was cool and was wondering if any other bands do that...

AFI- Keeping Out of Direct Sunlight (An Introduction)

"We are the ones with the radiating eyes.
We are the ones, who have A FIRE INSIDE."

I'm not really into modern music all that much, but the only "bands" I know of that did that were 98 Degrees and N*SYNC.
*gets the heeby-jeebies for mentioning them*
There could be others, but I can't think of them.

Boston and The Monkees

Minor Threat
Bad Religion
Gorgeous Frankenstein
The Clash (if you count Clash City Rockers or This Is Radio Clash)
Pennywise
Tiger Army (Tiger Army Never Die)

Not their own names but the Deftones took their name from a lyric by Zack De La Rocha in a Rage song called Bullet In The Head. and ex Sepultura vocalist Max Cavalera decided to name his new band Soulfly after he sang it as a lyric when he guested on the Deftones track Headup.

I know Jon Davis shouted Korn on the opening track for one of his albums as did Lynn Strait for the Snot debut but I doubt that counts right.

I can't remember which songs they were, but I think Andrew Wood had "Mother Love Bone" in a few of theirs.

Minor Threat did in their song of the same title.

Queen, if you count the songs "White Queen (As it Began)" and "March of the Black Queen." Not about themselves as a band, but their name is in the title of the song, and in the lyrics.

"White Queen how my heart did ache
And dry my lips no word would make"

and

"Here comes the Black Queen, poking in the pile
Fie-fo the black Queen, marching single file
Take this, take that, bring them down to size
March to the Black Queen"

Whiplash by METALLICA
"Life out here is raw, but we will never stop
We will never quit cause we're Metallica"

Rock & Roll Band by BOSTON
"Well we were just another band out of Boston
On the road to try to make ends meet"

Down by 311
"Fall in love with your teachers on the wax
We are self made, check the technique, 311 in L.A."

Megalomaniac by KMFDM
"KMFDM, better than the best
Megalomaniacal and harder than the rest"

Take A Look Around by LIMP BIZKIT
"Limp Bizkit is rockin' the set
It's like Russian roulette when you're placin' your bet"

Orestes by A PERFECT CIRCLE
"Metaphor for a missing moment
Pull me in to your perfect circle"

Yes.
See Rap music.

From First to Last - Dead Baby Kickball

you beat me to it! i was gonna ask this question! =]

well it's pretty close-
Before Their Eyes-The Nighttime Is Out Time
"Tonight's the night
We'll set this on fire
right BEFORE YOUR EYES"

not exactly but close =]

Iron Maiden have a song called Iron Maiden.

Queen have a song called Killer Queen.

Motorhead have a song called Motorhead.

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith wrote songs titled Mia, Liv, and like all of his kid's names..but other than that.. i dunno any.

the Ramones covered Motorhead's R A M O N E S
Guns n Roses has a lyric "Everything was roses when we held on to the guns." in Breakdown.
Green Day also has a song titled Green Day on their first album, 'slappy hours'

"Bad Company", "Black Sabbath" and "Mot枚rhead" are some of the few triple titles in music: the song name, the album and the artist all have the same name. I know Bad Company uses the title in the song but Black Sabbath I'm not sure. Mot枚rhead as well I'm not sure of but I believe they do.

Mike beat me
with Green Day
the song called Green Day from their album
1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours
and the song has the same meaning as their band name
well thats how they got their band name
because at first they were called Sweet Children

i also forgot that they wrote a song called Sweet Children
and well before the band was called Green Day
their name was Sweet Children

which Emma-ly mention it

Counting Crows, on the last track of their first CD (August and Everything After) there's a line about someone sitting and counting crows that fly by

Manfred Man, in '5-4-3-2-1'
Pink Floyd *half* do, in 'Have A Cigar'
The Monkees, in 'The Monkees theme'

The Who referance one of their albums :~
In 'You Better You Bet', they mention 'Who's Next'.

the only thing that comes to mind is rap music
most rap artists or bands always tend to say their names in their songs

"F*** it Up" by Pigface (F*** it up, Pigface)

Oh, and don't forget who is going to make you jump, jump.
Criss Cross gonna make you "Jump Jump"

A ton of 90's Rap for that matter...
House of Pain
Beastie Boys
Cypress Hill

- Do "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars" count as a band?

Just about every rap artist ever.

I know this has already been said, but Green Day got their band name after writing the song 'Green Day' (a day where you do nothing except sit around and smoke pot.)

Before becoming Green Day, they were Sweet Children. They ALSO have a song called Sweet Children as well..

'Green Day' is on 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.
'Sweet Children' is on Kerplunk!

The Court of the Crimson King- King Crimson
