What is your favorite band that get absolutely no attention? |
or that NOBODY has heard of. here's your chance to make them known!! exactly! that's the point! you are naming bands that NOBODY has heard of! Emanuel How dare you choose a BEST answer that doesn't include links? Report It BOGUS! Report It I only listen to Christian music which I'm sure no one here has heard of. Twiddle. www.twiddlemusic.com Jon Frederick Band (that's their original name) they are now known as NEW HIP STEREO! They are a Boston based band. Check out their MySpace page ... www.myspace.com/newhipstereo my band :) Lets see no attention, well FALLING YOU Mine is Widespread Panic. If you're not from the south, it's likely you've never heard of them, even though their following is similar to that of Phish and The Grateful Dead. They hold numerous records for attendance at a ton of venues all around the south, and their concerts are definitely worthy of remembrance. Birmingham rakes in the dough not only from the entertainment taxes, but also from the bail money of the several dozen that always get arrested. They are definitely not mainstream and I honestly hope they never are. ;) I watched these guys play a show a while ago, and I must say I was pretty impressed. They were quite good. Acid bath.. They are deff unknown, its sad that many havent heard the beautiful voice of dax riggs, but at the same time the band is an underground legend. Well I'm sure SOMEONE has heard of these 3 bands, but not many people that I know of. Good Charlotte is my F and loe(band) In Dying Arms Poured Out Like Wine Fleet Foxes jag-star Muse - okay so they're known by many, but still don't get enough attention!! It isn't suprising because their records so far have been released on small local labels, but one of my top 5 favorite bands is a group called Franklin For Short. They are going to have a new record out in February and there is a lot of excitement about this maybe being the one that can propel them into some sort of success, but to date no one outside of the Ventura, CA area and maybe a bit of L.A. knows about them. They also put on a really great show. http://www.myspace.com/franklinforshort A band called Four Horny Boys I've never seen anyone on here, except maybe Jake, mention Less Than Jake. & I like them. A lot. the jonas brothers they r famous but my friend dosnt even know theme every singer or band thet comes from disney channel no one knows theme Flee the seen Way too many to name, both signed and independant. Corperate radio sux, and MTV is great if you like rap or bad reality shows. Sirius radio does way more for the less corperate music scene, they accually play what they want, not just whats approved. I'm in a signed band who has traveled and toured for 4 years straight, the local stations here are owed by a large national called Journal Broadcast and they will not play anything that is not corperate approved. It sux! We get airplay all over and nationally on Sirius, but not in our own city! Well, the people who know me probably know what I'm going to say! REHAB Emmure Fugazi Stutterfly If they haven't gotten any attention I assume it's for a reason- they suck. Every band named by answerers above me- I guarantee you, they all suck. Bands are popular for a reason. IF you want good music, check out some crowd favorites like Sugar Ray and Creed. Everything else is GARBAGE!!!! |
