What kind of reviews have you heard about the Zeppelin reunion show?

I haven't heard anything but praise.....

they have to tour now......right?

Only positive reviews. And justifiably so. Last night Led Zeppelin easily stole the Classic Rock crown from the Stones again...just like they did back in the seventies. I think when it's all written down, the 02 show will go down as one of the best rock concerts ever performed.

Oh, and Rick W? I don't know how you can not be impressed by last night's show if you claim to be as big a fan as you say you are. Personally I've got close to 150 Zeppelin concert boots, from every stage of their career, and I gotta tell ya, Rick, even without John Bonham, the 02 show was one of their best. Jimmy Page probably hasn't played that good since at least 1973, and Jason Bonham filled his old man's shoes nicely. They stuck to straight ahead no frills arrangements of the songs, which was always their problem back in the old days. You know how many versions of "Kashmir" I have on bootlegs where they totally f-ck up the song? Last night's rendition was probably the best I've ever heard. I'm telling you, they take this show on the road, it'll go down as the biggest rock tour in the history of the genre...nobody else can even come close- not the Stones, not U2, not anybody.

theyre prolly on their way to "heaven"

but yous one fine lady

there are videos on youtube this morning. review it yourself.

It's hard to top the 70's Zep... I'm a big fan and I wasn't super-impressed.

I've only heard good reviews. I've heard that there is also clips on Youtube but I haven't looked yet.
If they tour in my area I'm going!

I heard that overall they blew everyone away!! Reports are that they stumbled on a couple of songs, which is to be expected but overall kicked major ***.

I went to Ledzeppelin.com and looked at some of pics and such.

I have heard the same thing, but you have to realize that they will not come close to the sound/stage presence they achieved in the 70's. They are older, vocals are strained, guitar licks aren't as quick, drumming isn't the same, etc.

I experienced this personally at recent Genesis, The Police, Van Halen, Chicago, Boston, Aerosmith, Meatloaf, etc concerts. Unfortunately you cannot recapture that past period in time, but sometimes, you can achieve some great moments.

Go on the bbc news website loads of articles and reviews.
I wouldn't listen too much to the likes of rick, who probably wouldn't have been old enough to remember the mid seventies, concerts back then had notoriously bad PA systems and with the exception of a few concerts, from about 75-78 zeppelin concerts were not as good as their earlier concerts in fact some were bloody terrible.
By all acounts they were awesome last night.

Hope to The Lord they do tour Strawberry

I heard that it went well, I saw some videos on youtube of it, Robert Plant sounds like his voice is kind of fadking but they are still rocking!! Hopefully we will see a US tour for next year, we can only hope

I really do not know!!!
