Really old School U2?

I see a lot of posts about "old schoool U2", however I do not consider One, or even The Joshua Tree "Old School" I want to know if any real fans remember A Celebration, An Cat Dubh/ in to the Heart/ Out of Control, Boy Girl, I Threw a Brick Through a Window, or any other faves from Boy, October, or even War. Anyone under 35 aware of these tunes??

Yes!!! I love the War album especially "New Year's Day." I am 23. Hubby is the same age and also in love with U2 although he doesn't like the older stuff much.

I love "I Will Follow" off the Boy LP.

Old School enough for Ya?

I like 'New Years Day' and 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' {and yes, I'm under 35!}.
I also like Bono's duet with Clannad on 'In A Lifetime'.

{Bono is a great admirer of Clannad ~ he commented that in 1983, hearing the song 'Theme from Harry's Game' playing on mainstream radio, he nearly ran his car off the road from the shock of hearing Irish Gaelic on a non-Irish station!}

I am 19, and most of those songs are familiar...I admit I do not know them nearly as well as everything from TJT on, but I still listen to them.

It was a surprise to hear An Cat Dubh and Into the Heart during the Elevation tour. I am glad that they revisited those songs...they have aged well. :-)
