Making a guitar instrumental c.d.....?

I wanna work with drum loops(drum machine)and combine elements of hip-hop-electronica and shred(it's gonna be a primarily chops oriented record)I have a digital 8-track,drum and bass machine a few guitars etc......Can i make it work?I already have some killer demos but am concerned that i don't have the best equipment. But i have a good concept i'm working on(chops over modernized beats samples)Also,where would i be able to pitch this?I've given a few samples(short demo c.d's)to people and all i got was that i was avery proficient player and i should keep up the good work and keep doing what i'm doing.Does that amount to anything?

It's SO difficult when you're such a genius on the guitar. As they say, life gets tedious......rather like your questions.

Sure it amounts , but you need to define what your actual "Target goal" is and what you envision as a workable project. I may be able to help , so...where can i hear some of this?

Should be fine. I'll give you a tip though: Choose a guitar sound that can cut through all that other stuff otherwise you won't hear it (turning it up in the mix wil probably make it sound worse). A Fender Strat's good for the chops!
