How would you describe my taste in music?

i get asked this question a lot
and im in loss for words
i listen to bands like:
Daphne Loves Derby, Say Anything, Taking Back Sunday, There For Tomorrow, Asteria, Forever the Sickest Kids, All Time Low, Dashboard, Augustana, Big City Rock, Boys Like Girls, Cute Is What We Aim For, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Dance Gavin Dance, Before Their Eyes, Dave Melillo, Five Times August, Jack's Manequin, Something Corporate, Hellogoodbye, Head Automatica, The Hush Sound, Rocket Summer, The Killers, Love Arcade, Mayday Parade, Nada Surf, Sherwood

and out of those i don't like the bands with a "pop" sound as much as the others

Good taste, I think, with a pop edge.

I love Before Their Eyes, All Time Low, Cute Is What We Aim For, and Dance Gavin Dance. Mayday Parade is pretty tight too.

Contemporary, since you like all newer bands.

Genres are getting ridiculous these days. I listen to these bands as well, I just say I listen to rock and leave it at that.

Talk about making an old man feel ancient!! Sheesh!! I have never even heard of a single one of these groups, not a damn single one. I'll just go back to my Beatles and leave this one to someone younger.

Its mainly rock. You listen to all branches which means you like a variety of styles. You seem to like bands in the know. To make things easier just tell people that you listen to rock and every branch of it

Pop, Punk pop, current wave of (crappy, unlike real emo)emo, with generic alternative. I like only one or two bands out of those, but its understandable why you would like those bands.

I would guess emo/post hardcore though I have honestly never heard of some of the bands. Heard of most, but not all.

omg somebody with a good taste in music! all that's missing is evanescence which is the best band ever! if you want to get some of their music for free you can get their pre-fallen music from evanescencereference.info and it's free and legal!

omg we need more people listening to that type of music!
