When will Green Day's next album be released?

I came across this and I'm wondering how long it takes to make an album will it be out by the end of 2008?

"Green Day have announced they'll be back in the studio in January to start working on a new album, the first since 2004's American Idiot"

WHO CARES.. if you look up "sellout" in the dictionary you would see a picture of greenday. they now officially suck.

I heard that they are coming out with an American Idiot movie too but I could be wrong. I don't know when they are coming out with a new album. I hope it's soon though b/c my favorite band is Green Day.

A good guess would be anywhere from June - October.. Depending on how prepared they are and how fast they work.. An interview in Rolling Stone said that they had about 40 new songs, and had to cut down, and focus only on the best.

they announced it is gonna be recorede in january so it will probably come out in september or august.

In an interview few months ago, Green Day said they have got SOOO MANY song, that they can bring out 3 WHOLE ALBUMS!

But they are working hard to make the follow-up to american idiot a really great one..

They predicted their next album will come up Early or MID 2008.. Im expecting it will come up next SPRING or something..

Cant wait!!

They said in another interview, im not sure.. that theyve got some songs that are straight-full punk, others which are slow and meaningful.. and a whole mixture.. yeah id love to see their old stuff like Kerplunk or Insomniac back again!

He just said he wrote many songs on the piano.. But he will change it soon to guitar, or he could keep it.. i really hope he doesnt do the piano thing..
