What version of a cover song do you hate the most?

I would pick Tracy Chapman's cover of the Doors "Light My Fire." I hate the way she did it so much that I wish somebody would light her on fire.

Stand By Me sample that was used by Sean Kingston; it's not an ACTUAL remake, but some of the older lyrics are in it, so I think that somewhat counts.

But if you need a full-blown cover, then Reba McIntire's remake of one of my favorite ballads ever, Kelly Clarkson's Because Of You wasn't as good. It's not terrible, and there are worse out there, but I really don't like it much. I hate Reba a little for doing it!

I pretty much hate all songs people remake! usually its butchered! Very few bands can make it as well as the original! I mean why cant they make their own songs?
Especially how Rod Steward and like Barry Manilow..its all they do.really..i mean i do like Some of rod stewards own music..kinda

Some that I actually do like are...Simple man..Lynard Skynard did..but Shinedown re-did its actually pretty good

Landslide by Stevie Nicks..dixie chicks re-did..i dont like country that much but they didnt do it that bad!
