We've got the venue booked, we've got pizza, sushi chefs, tacos, burgers, and brats (and lots of jerky treats for Bowzer). The servers will all be scantily clad (male and female) for the viewing enjoyment of the guests. We've also got one helluva band made up of one male and one female vocalist, a lead and rhythm guitarist, a bass player, a drummer, and a multi-talented keyboardist. The problem is, the band doesn't have a set list. We also seem to be short on beverages. So, in order to join the party, you have two bring two songs you want the band to play and the beverage of your choice.
I'm bringing a gallon of Jack, a twelve pack of coke, and a keg of Yuengling.
My two songs:
"Rock and Roll All Nite" - Kiss (After I drink all that Jack, I'll be yelling at the band to play Kiss... gauranteed.)
"Renegades of Funk" - Rage Against the Machine (This is simply so I don't have to endure somebody standing near the front of the stage drunkenly screaming "RAGE" over and over again.) FYI, all attempts at humor are greatly appreciated. I'll bring the Gerard effigy. Lol! Thx man!
& while we all line up to take a swing at it, we'll have Jacko's "Beat It" blasting in the background! :) Report It
Water (I put drinking on hold about a year ago)
Songs:
Kids Of The Black Hole - The Adolescents (now playing!)
Career Opportunities - The Clash
Sookie: Good call on Big Bad Voodoo Daddy! Beverage of choice-Orange Fanta and Creme...I want the "Mini-Kiss" band to play Rock and Roll All Nite...you'll be on the floor with pleasure for sure...then I want my band CROTCH to play Hepatitis B...you'll wish for a condom at the end of the nite...pleasure and restraint...what an evil combo. lol my drinks are as follows: absent(american version of absinthe), absolut, george dickel, jagermeister, and some rockstar, sugar cubes, and orange juice (hey if you get em drunk enough they won't CARE what you play)
the songs are: I love rock n roll-joan jett( just playin this one to get everyone in a drinkin mood)
jeremy-pearl jam(i love watchin drunk ppl get emotional to songs!)
i would also throw in a bit of country(just too watch wayyyy to many drunk "rockers" start singin the sh*t cuz it's catchy)
and also somethin along the lines of "let's get it on" cuz how many ppl do you know that don't start wantin to get freaky while drinkin? WOOOOO!!!! Love the R & P Party!
I'll bring the ever misunderstood, but incredibly awesome and low maintenance Vodka Diet Coke and
I Am The Walrus - Beatles
and
Pump it Up - Elvis Costello
a couple nice, middle groundm up-ity classics.

A-Hem.... This thing on?
What do Fred Durst and Billy Corgan have in common with soda shoppe employees?
They're all jerks!
Why couldn't the bass player shake the singer's girlfriend's hand?
Because you can't shake hands with a mirror.
(ok that one is too stupid, I'll just stop) A case each of Labatts Blue (Light, of course) and Molson XXX. I will need to call a cab...
Town Called Malice - The Jam
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol
Edit: wait...can I request some Swing too? I want to hear "You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three". The drunken Swing dancing would be hilarious.
Master C - I don't think it would be a party without it! :) I'll bring the Wild Turkey 101prf
I'm gonna drink out of the yeungling keg and do shots of turkey
While listening to "IN The Evening" by Zeppelin
and waiting to hear "I hate myself for loving you" by Joan Jett
Cheers ! And I'll bring the Orange/Cranberry juice! YEAAH! \m/
[it sucks being 17 - maybe someone will slip me some vodka?]
Songs;
Guns N' Roses; Welcome to the Jungle
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts; I Love Rock and Roll [you have to] Should probably get the band to play Freebird... It may cut down on the drunken masses screaming for it to be played before every other song.. Honestly, I've never been to a show that somebody didn't yell it.
Baby Got Back should be covered, as drunks dancing to this song is funnier than most comedians could ever hope to be.
I'll be bringing as much vodka, Kaluha and cream as I can carry... Cause I am on a white Russian kick. Drinks : Non-alcoholic Wine
Nibbles : A *large* tub of Twigglets
Songs :~
'Rock and Roll' ~ Led Zeppelin
'Tusk' ~ Fleetwood Mac I'd request Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue, because I mean hey. It's Dr. Feelgood.
& next would be, as I'm sure some of you predicted, Reckless Life - Guns N' Roses.
The drink is a personal favorite of mine - Coca Cola.
I'm still too young to drink! :) I'll bring a keg of bud, and a gallon of Jagermister
my two songs:
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
Gimme Three Steps by Lynyrd Skynyrd
Can I be lead guitarist? I play very well Spirit of the West - Home for a rest
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPJD3qcIL...
Great Big Sea - Mary-Mac
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDtjq0mGV...
along with a keg of guinness I'll bring along a keg of the Pacific NW's finest microbrew and a couple of bus tokens to get my dunk a** home afterwards. Since it's the holiday season, my first song will be Fairy Tale of New York by The Pogues and just for a kicker, I got Lionel Richie's Dancing on the Ceiling.
Oh what a feeling.....
Edit: Rckets: I'm still kickin'. Somewhat.......... I'll bring another gallon of Jack, you can never have enough Jack people.
And of course two song
K.C. & The Sunshine Band-Get Down Tonight
K.C. & The Sunshine Band-That's The Way I Like It
Hey, everybody loves to boogie at a party! Sweet shinding Mike. a bottle of maker's mark and a 2 liter pepsi---tunes--
whipping post- allmans
tainted love- soft cell
and then dont touch me please, i cannot stand the way you teasssse. I'll bring a liter of Crown & 12 pk diet 7 up AND 1/2 dozen of limes.........
I want to hear......Layla/Eric Clapton---good jamming song
and something I can dance to.........Roll with it/Steve Winwood Woo hoo, party time!!! Better late than never, I always say. I have to pick two songs so my goal for them is to not be predictable. Much like the pirates of an earlier time, my drink is rum. Lots of it.
Revolting C**ks - Beers, Steers And Queers - Trust me, this is party music in its purest form.
P.O.D. - Rock The Party (Off The Hook)
Seems like I'm the last one to arrive at the party. Looking around, it appears the food has run out and everyone has passed out. Good thing the band is still playing.
Hey Huevo - *high five* I'll bring two kegs of Newcastle Brown ale, two kegs Dry Blackthorn cider and 20 cans of Pepsi Max (the Pepsi stops me from getting really bad hangovers from all that cider).
My two song suggestions are:
"Barracuda" by Heart (my fave rock song ever sung by a female vocalist) and "Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC (a party wouldn't be complete without it).
And is it OK if bring some firecrackers to stuff inside the Gerard effigy? |
