Why are people so obsessed w/ MCR?

whether its w/ hate or love, people are so obsessed w/ them...why?

I think the obsessed MCR fans should just back off and stop asking/answering questions (going on a rant about MCR and such). Right now, seems like everyone in the R&P section who doesn't LOVELOVELVOELVOELVOE MCR is getting their opinions spat at and MCRmy shoved down their throats.

Make sense?

Because they are the flavor of the month.

I guess because almost every band is like that.
It's just that some people hate them with a passion and some love them with a passion.
And they like to show that her on R&P.
Unlike, other bands people would rather talk about MCR than other bands.

Because they get talked about too much. Personally, I hate them but I won't go out of my way to bash them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I'll probably get thumbs-downed but that's the way people are. We all love OUR music and we don't like people that don't. People are very passionate about their opinions and I don't expect all MCR fans to stop listening to them because I don't like them.

Im not obsessed and never will be. Im not the kind of person who gets so much in to bands that thats all they talk about. I mean, you probably have something your really into so dont go hating ppl that are obsessed with MCR. No offense, k?

I know, I don't really care one way or the other. I like Green Day's earlier stuff, and a girl I know is obsessed with Green Day and MCR. I've never really heard any of MCR's stuff, and I don't really care.

I am not obcessed with them, the fans really upset me because they are to hardcore i mean saying "anyone who doesnt like mcr can go die" is a little bit extreme I cannot stand the fans, plus the band sucks, and on a different note I am getting sick of answering this question

The band might be ok but fans are the big problem here its them that F**K up the name and image of the band by asking stupid questions all the time on here

because they are a good band. i wouldnt ever say that they are my favorite band or the best band in the world, but i definitely like them. and the old people are hating on them because they got something against new music for some reason.

i love mcr because they are totally unique and inspiring plus they're amusing to watch. they are NOT emo [for the love jesus]. but i do agree about the fans. some of them are a little psycho/fangirlish.

and there's nothing wrong with the MCRmy, so there.

because people who like MCR are constantly being crapped on by every one who doesn't.

people are constantly saying how stupid my chemical romance fans are, how stupid the band is, and what not.

so, the fans feel like they need to fight back, to defend themselves, which they have every right to do, since the haters are usually the instigaters.

does anybody else think that "shannon, straight up" is the most close-minded and fake prick to ever join the rock and pop community?

They make good music.
A lot of people love it.
And then people become obsessed with them.

And they play a fantastic live show.
Definitely the best concert I've ever been to, they've got a lot of energy and the obsessed fans make it even more exciting.

Whether you like them or not, they stand out against the other bands of the moment.

By most standards, I'm probably 'obsessed' with them.
Not because they're the latest craze, or because of Gerard's hair.
They've become a part of my everyday life.
Their messages have undeniably helped so many people.
If that's not a reason for 'obsession', I don't know what is.

because mcr is basically the best band. there are some songs that arent as good as others, but if u listen to the songs like 10 times then u'll start liking them, like i do to like songs.
