Your opinion of Evanescence?

I love their music, but isn't some of it borderline gothic and kinda freaky?

Also, what are your favorite songs of the band? I like Call Me When You're Sober, Lithium, but my all-time favorite is Bring Me To Life.

Evanenscence has been my favorite band since "fallen" came out. ive played "my immortal" on the piano for every talent show ive ever been in lol..for some reason, every single one of their songs appeals to me. amy lee has an incredible, amazing voice and i never get sick of hearing it

I finally got to see them live this summer...they opened for Korn. They were AMAZING...amy lee is sooo incredibly talented. i would have to say my favorite songs of theirs are bring me to life, going under, my immortal, my last breath, weight of the world, and lithium, and a lot of the stuff from their origin album

Im not really an evanessence fan, but Amy Lee has one of the best voices i've ever heard.

I dunno, when I think metal, I don't imagine it w/ angelic female vocals & keyboards. I want my metal heavy & dirty & loaded w/ testosterone. Tried them & a couple of bands like them- not for me.

I can't stand anything they made after their album Fallen. I fell in love with it years ago, and hoped for new music...but it wasn't as meaningful to me the second time.

the only thing i think about Evanescense is that the singer is REALLY hot... seriously, she's just gorgeous... but i hear her additude is crap...

A ripoff of the Canadian band named Joydrop, who were doing the same music in the 1990s but couldn't get airplay.

I think they are more commercialized "gothic" if anything but I don't really care. Personally I love their music and Amy has an amazing voice. I know not everybody likes Evanescence but I really like their music, even the songs they made before Fallen are good.
Some of my favorite songs are "Lithium", "My Immortal", "Anywhere", "Tourniquet", "Good Enough" and "I Must be Dreaming"

i think ther music is just right for them but then again i like that freaky and gothic stuff. amy lee is totally awesome. seen them in concerts before and she doesnt try to impress anyone. she came out in night clothes and they put on one hell of a show. her voice is sweet. as for the songs my favorites are: bring me to life,call me when you're sober, broken,and my immortal.

Not really into Evanescence i prefer Lacuna Coil they are a much better band.

I saw them live at the start of the year and they were amazing.
I think their whole style is really cool.
And Amy Lee is awesome.

My favourite song would have to be either Going Under or Bring Me to Life.

i guess the sound of the music is a little gothic, but the words are not. Some people might think they are, but they dont stop to actually figure out what the words mean.
Evanescence is amazing. i can not choose a favorite song because i love them all, but one of my top favorites is "Your Star"
