Which one is best rock n roll song "stairway to heaven" or "comfortably numb".?

Y'know, these are songs are so different, yet so similar. I honestly can't really choose, but something about Stairway bores me sometimes. I also love when the song kicks up the tempo ("If there's a bustle in your hedgegrow...") yet the rest is kind of boring.

Everytime I listen to Comfortably Numb I enjoy it.
The song starts out haunting (Hello? Is there anybody out there? Knock if you can hear me), and is just awesome the whole way through. The solo's are some of the best in rock, and honestly it just doesn't get much better than this song.

So, my choice is Comfortably Numb.

"Comfortably numb" has the best guitar solo at the end.

"Stairway..." has awesome words and rhythms.

None are the best rock 'n' roll song ever because it is impossible to tell which is the best. But just to say, for Pink Floyd, I prefer "Time" more and for Led Zeppelin, I prefer "Custard Pie".

Anyway, I'd go with "Stairway to Heaven", but both are overplayed songs that are considered "best solos ever". They're good songs and solos, but I don't see why they're so popular.

Stairway to Heaven is the most recognizable Rock song. It's one of those songs that was way ahead of it's time. It sounds just as fresh today as it did in 1971.

Comfortably Numb is so much better. Stairway just gets old the more you hear it, it's so overplayed.

Neither is, The best of all time is nothing more than an opinion based on your tastes. I would put neither of these songs on my top 10 of all time, but since you ask I would have to go with Stairway as it brings back better memories, and I like the hooks better, not to say that "Numb" isn't good it is a great song, just doesn't do as much for me

Out of these though, Comfortably Numb, no question about it! I'm a Floyd fan though, and this song is a huge help when I'm in an iffy mood. Plus, I have emotional ties to it. Pink Floyd just brings something extra to the music.....But seriously, while Stairway is fine, and is classic, it's nowhere near BEST of anything......

Comfortably numb for sure. It is more complez guitar music and Staitway to Heaven in way over rated. I mean jimmy page is grate but led zeppeilin jacked stairway along with other sngs from there warm up bands. So im going with comfortably numb played my david gilmor
