Goth rock. Whatever you want to call it..
I love Psyche, Clan of Xymox, The Cure, Pink Industry, Project Pitchfork, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Sex Gang Children, Christian Death, ect. ect.
Most of what I've found just doesn't sound as good as it did back when it was first coming around. Of course theres still some around..like Black Ice.. but anyway!
Any suggestions? I like almost any kind of metal. But that's not what I'm looking for right now, thank you =] I love Clan of Xymox and Project Pitchfork.
Check out London After Midnight, if you haven't already. If you're looking for a darker sound go with the albums "Psycho Magnet" or "Selected Scenes from the End of the World". The new one "Violent Acts of Beauty" is excellent, but it's much more upbeat and I think it has a lot of industrial elements.
Another one worth looking into would be Faith and the Muse. Love Spirals Downwards and The Cruxshadows are great too. check out silentium's 'hangman's lullaby'
beautiful song.
