Female fronted screamo/rock/punk bands ?

My favourite type of music is riot girl music ... the distillers, the donnas, the devotchkas, porcelain and the tramps ,my ruin etc.. im looking for another band to listen to ..anyone know any female fronted screamo bands ?? i love to vent my anger through music hehe !

You should try Straight Line Stitch and Hydrovibe. They are actually heavy, unlike Paramore and some of the others listed.

Hydrovibe did a song for Saw IV, if that gives you an idea. Report It

the donnas are good! i just found them through a mutual friend a while back. she keeps tellin me about a song they have that says "take me to the backseat" in it. would you happen to know what the title is?

I wouldn't call them anything other than "hardcore", but OTEP has a female front(woman) as does Flyleaf.

Plasmatics! Thank you SJC for mentioning Wendy O. Williams (R.I.P). She was the most balls-out female frontwoman ever. You might also try the Gits. "Second Skin" is one of the best records ever made.
