If they decide to do a tour I'm so there!I hope London wasn't a one time thing and they decide to do a final tour as a tribute to the fans and John Bonham. I caught some of the show they did and it was incredible. Lets hope they tour! Robert Plant and Jimmy Page have teased us over the 27 odd years since Led Zeppelin's breakup, that maybe, JUST MAYBE, they'd get back together for one final tour.
However, if their tours are anything like the Led Zeppelin performance at Live Aid in 1985, I hope they do not tour. It wasn't so much John Bonham's absence (as his son filled in and did a fine job), but more of a lack of rehearsal and 5 years of rust. Plant was so disappointed in the performance, he excluded it from the Live Aid video that was released of the full concert. But, imagine what 27 years of rust and age will do.
Led Zeppelin rocks, there's no doubt, and if they come to New Orleans, I will be there FOR SURE. I just hope they play more like the 1970s and less like 1985. I sure am, but I saw on CNN tonight that Robert Plant & what's her face woman he just put an album out w/ are gonna tour in May. ..Don't know where that'd leave a Zepp tour... Oh my god, YES! I almost cried the day they were performing because I wasn't there. I am huge Zeppelin fan, Jimmy Page is on my wall.
Probably up there with Jimi Hendrix as far as guitarists goes. Led Zeppelin, I would pay 1mil to see them, no lies. Even if they started touring, witch wud be great, I probably couldnt afford it. People are rich, and willing to pay MONEY. I would pay, but no funds.
I love Zeppelin, and I do hope they tour, for the sake of ALL zeppelin fans. Yes, I've got a major rush going on, just thinking that they might tour over here in the states.
But with Zep you never know.
They don't need to tour for money as there all quite wealthy.
It must of made the 3 surviving original members of the group feel really-really good to see John's son on the drums. He is now the 6th member of the group. The 5th member was there late manager, Peter Grant.
I think Jason is the key player on weather they tour or not. Plant is just being pissy and quiet, Jones is just happy to be part of it again and Page is clean and off the drugs.
There could be a tour in the work's. Anyway let's hope so!
Sorry about the rant. no, im sick of hearing about them. I would like to go if they have one, but ticket prices are going to be through the roof. Plus at any price they will be very difficult to obtain. |
