Led Zeppelin question...?

There's no doubt that Led Zeppelin was a great band, but....how many times can they re-master all the same songs and put out a new album every year?! No matter how many times they are re-mastered, "The Songs Remain the Same"....

KISS has done this since about 1994. I'm not sure Jimmy Page has recorded an original note since the Coverdale-Page project.

Some artists are the absolute masters of repackaging their history, and selling to their fans. When you have millions of both dollars and adoring fans, it's obviously hard to even attempt creativity.

I keep hearing rumors that a new album is in the works.
They have just reached a point where everyone who wants their records has them, so they aren't making nearly as much in sales as they used to.

No doubt. A lot of bands are doing this. Look at Pink Floyd. They are coming out with a new box set. I bought the box set in I believe 91 or 92. The only thing they have new since then is if I remember right is the live album with the blinking eyes. No new material just remastered. I think it is just the music industry trying to make an easy buck.

Yes but what other bands can do what Led Zeppelin did?

considering some of the new stuff coming out now, people young and old still want great music

I love Led Zeppelin but....
When the band was at their height in the 70's do you know what the other band members nickname for Jimmy Page was?
Led Wallet

Yeah I kind of agree. Time for some new material maybe?
