I can't remember the artist or album. Each song stood on its own, but if you listen to the entire album, the songs fell in line with a story of a quest for some magic guitar. Help, it's going to keep me up all night, LOL. Utopia's "RA" album, i believe that's what you seek. "Singring and The Glass guitar", the quest for the glass guitar it was. Each bandmembers solo spot on certain songs was to unlock the keys to a chest that held the glass guitar. I believe Todd Rundgren's solo was the last key , and it enabled them to get the guitar, and in the end , ....they smashed it! All that work , and they smashed it! LOL! I have that tape somewhere , it's a cool record , AND some great playing too. Vinster is correct. |
