Ok....Favorite Guitarist Act....listen up!?

I wanna know who u think...top 5 or 10 guitarist acts that U feel just put on a good show...U know..run around...smack that guitar and have fun...not some dude who stands in one place.
Mine--Eddie Van Halen(bias on this one my fave)
Angus Young...can u play for 3 hours the way he does???
Pete Townsend...how many guitars did he destroy lol
Steve Vai...always a fave
Sammy Hagar..better solo
Garth Brooks...Yes..dude puts on a he ll of a show
Chuck Berry ...love watchin this dude go at it(old footage)
CC Deville...all over the stage at a concert..gets the crowd gowing:)
Ted Nugent...great gonzo
Ace Frehley...the dude had the stage going..best in the band:)

thanks so far...but I want run around..get the crowd going and puttin on a show.. movin from one end of the stage to the other...these are not my faves..just the run around and get the crowd into it type guitar players

Steve Vai! Get that "Live at the Astoria" video. Steve brings guitar playing from another world for sure, but some of the stuff he does onstage just KILLS me! LOL! He doesn't do the cliche thing of throwing the guitar around his neck - he throws it behind him and let's it hit him in the rear, resulting in an open string bang noise! LOL! He also does a thing at the end of "For the love of God" where he's letting some notes feedback some harmonics , and he flicks his toungue on the strings to get even higher harmonic notes. I recently bought that video of him with the Holland Metropole Orchestra , and though he does none of his "band schtick" on it and he actually DOES kinda stand there - by not having to jump around, his playing is flawless on this one, and it's cool to hear his songs with a huge hip orchestra. Yngwie too - he's pretty entertaining to see - Sure he's got all the "classic" moves down (LOL!) but he's damn good at it. Janick Gers from Iron Maiden , you can tell he's ran around and been crazy onstage for years , and it looks like an unrehearsed thing for him.

1. Randy Rhodes...this dude could rip off solos and riffs, and he was the best ever in my opinion
2. Jimmy Page....this dude is probably the best ever in most people's minds, Led Zeppelin was one of the best bands ever and this guy could PLAY!!!
3. Eddie Van Halen...Eruption, need I say more"?
4. Angus Young.....he had great stage presence and was a great player also
5. Ace Frehly....KISS was an AWESOME stage band and Ace was sure one awesome player
