Those are some of the VERY few rap songs with a TINY TINY bit of meaning. I understand that killing and gang violence that some of them talk about are meaningful but there are other issues beyond that, and that's the only meaningful thing rap songs ever have.
One of the biggest reasons I hate rap is because it is talentless.
They usually don't write their own music OR lyrics.
And with rock music and things like that they play their own music with instruments, but, as you can see, on the third one it shows some dude recording a beat in the recording studio, for WHOEVER is going to rap to it.
They record a few simple beats, and that's it, they don't have to work hard. It's created for them. God it always sounds the same througout that whole song, those few simple beats.
You just aren't smart OR mature enough to understand real music.
Rock and pop and country are a waiste of time.
OH! And there was a time when rap was pretty good. But that's over.
And I'm not close minded. I used to listen to rap. But then I grew up and now I understand what music is supposed to sound like. Some rap is good..

Honest Opinion^ Rap requires no talent. And the people who listen to it have no taste. I will not waste my time with you videos. I get enough of this crap rammed down my throat by idiots trying to go death by blasting this annoying crap in there rolling stereos. More reasons I hate it. Buddy - you posted this in the Rock section! Not rap! But the thing is... you're bothering us now. You're coming into our section, throwing Rap in our faces and calling us closed-minded.
I'm not a Rap hater, but I'm not a Rap lover either. I used to be into Rap a lot - but my tastes changed.
I didn't listen to those songs because I don't like those artists. not because I'm closedminded - because I'm not. Give me some Tupac or A Tribe Called Quest and you'll have me listening for hours. I'm listening to the latter right now as it so happens [well they're more Hip-Hop but, you know].
Although I'm not a huge Rap or Hip-Hop fan compared to you guys - when a girl posted something in this section about how Rap is not real music, I argued with her for over an hour.
The main point of my argument was that it was her /personal opinion/ - just because she doesn't like it doesn't mean that it's not music.
But I won't bother next time - you're obviously not willing to accept that different people have different tastes to your own.
I do understand your frustration though - I come to your section once in a while and see haters a lot. Like I said to another girl from the Rap section that came here shouting the odds then ended up deleting her question - don't let a few people influence your opinion on an entire group or 'community' of people. /Many/ people come to this section, and most of us are respectful towards other tastes.
