I just bought a guitar. HELP!? |
i just bought my first guitar. i want to learn to play guitar real well. you guys know any easy ways to learn how to play. I taught myself to play guitar a while ago. you can check out the tutorials on youtube which are usually pretty good. you should also stick to reading tabs in the beginning because it's probably easier for you to understand and you'll sound just as good as if you were reading the actual music. you aren't going to become a rockstar over night so the key is to practice as much as you can and enjoy it! good luck! if it was that easy, everyone would do it...you have to practice...lots. Basically.. get the music... play it.. practise ALOT! and then you will b good. Trust me. Im a muso They're right, you just have to practice practice practice. I'll call Carnegie Hall, and tell them you'll be there soon. i bought my first guitar 2 or 3 months ago and i cannt play that well. i practice everyday. my friends say that i'm good. but not that good. so try learning an easy song and some chords. that helped me! watch some guitar lesson videos too! www.ultimate-guitar.com/ The easiest way to sound good and heavy, and a basic way is to learn the tune of a song, is by using Power Chords. They are so simple and a good way to get started. if you wanna learn guitar pretty good start taking lessons they may be expensive but there worth it and even with lessonsPRACTICE!!!!! alot. There are no shortcuts, just practice and maybe get a book on guitar. well first you should learn how to read guitar tabs, than go to www.ultimate-guitar.com, it is a very good way to learn, after that just practice alot practice...kinda obvious. I guess you could also find a good place to get lessons. Don't go and get lessons that are 30 mins or an hour once a week and for like 40 bucks every lesson. I found a lessons (actually my mom did) for 80 bucks for 10 lessons. |
