What does this song make you feel? What are your thoughts?

Have you listened to Pink Floyd's song "High Hopes"? If yes, what does it make you feel and think? Do you agree it has also one of the best David Gilmoure guitar solos? I love the song and the lyrics.

Yes, I have listened to Pink Floyd's song, High Hopes.
It makes me feel apprehensive and sad. It speaks of unfulfilled expectations and yearning for something better.
Being the last song on the album, it also means the album is done playing. That alone usually bums me out.
I can't agree that it is one of David Gilmore's best solos but as usual his solo sounds good. I always have loved his slide guitar and his vocals. Now I also respect him greatly for his lyrics too.
I think it was a very thoughtful album and a fitting concept for the place where the band was at the time I do like the album, but it's not my favorite Pink Floyd album.
"Cluster One" and "Marooned" are my favorite tracks on the album. They inspire my imagination,
"Cluster One" pretty much tells the story for you, leaving less room to deviate from the path set forth by Gilmore's lyrics.
Roger Waters wrote the lyrics for Pink Floyd until he split with the band, but Gilmore has done a stellar job of carrying on in the tradition of Pink Floyd.
I love Pink Floyd. They have been singing about my life for decades now.
They sound great in concert and have always included awesome visual elements that make them one of my favorite bands to see live.

I HAVEN'T LISTENED TO THA ONE BUT I WILL NOW. I ENJOY ALOT OF PINK FLOYD'S MUSIC. IF YOU LIKE FLOYD YOU SHOULD ENJOY LED ZEPPELIN IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Division Bell but I did really enjoy High Hopes. I love the lyrics, you can always tell that Gilmour puts a lot of thought into them. I really love the guitar solo, but it's not my absolute favorite. I don't know why but I'm infatuated with the little piano part. It's small but when I heard it I ran to my piano and figured it out. Fun stuff Pink Floyd is.
