I don't mean that in a bad way at all. I have two friends who are working in the entertainment industry, and the funny thing is, even though I think their voices are beautiful technically and I know that other people love their voices, I personally think they sound funny because I know them. It's the same feeling I get when I hear myself singing. It might be on pitch, stylish, and attractive, but it still sounds funny to me. Does anybody else have this feeling with their friends? Mmmm, sometimes. Perhaps it's something akin to knowing the technique behind a magician's act; you're not necessarily on the "audience" end of it and that takes away some of the magic. yes |
