Ideas on how to improve my voice?

oh... and also... do i sound alright? i only did this because a family member said i sounded ''alright'' and wanted to hear how i sounded =S

Ofcousre I will be nice: you have a nice singing voice and talent, but you need to focus more on the total. I couldn't tell you what this song is about, because you sing it like you're reading it out loud. What you lack is proper instruction on how to make the most out of your singing in a very technical way. I do like your voice though.
Try to pick a song that will sound great without any guitar or band. And then really take your time when you sing it, put more emotion into it. And work on your PRONUNCIATION!

Practice alot and don't give up and maybe take a few lessons if you can

You should take voice lessons from a reputable voice instructor. There are many different ways to find a teacher that will suit your needs. Ask at the closest music store or ask a church choir director.

Truthfully, I hated the song but I think your voice has a lot of potential
