How about Mary's Boy Child (Oh, My Lord)? Listen to a great arrangement of this song by Boney M. I think you'll like it. Or you might want to try Happy Christmas by John Lennon.

If you can find a partner, try "Baby, it's cold outside". It's more of a "winter" song than an actual Christmas song, though.

every year some huge recording artist does a Christmas album full of the traditional stuff.

If you must stray from traditional songs, check out Alan Jackson's Christmas songs, you might like them.

Elvis Presley's excellent first Christmas album, ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM, looms so large in the public psyche that it is hard to fairly judge this album but taken on its own terms, Elvis Sings The Wonerful World Of Christmas is a fine collection of seasonal favorites that would be a welcome addition to any Elvis fan's stocking.

The latest BMG Elvis CD release, White Christmas, showcases the King's greatest yuletide recordings in a particularly attractive way. Look for a more unusual carol and before singing it give a short review of the carol's origin. You might try the Cherry Tree Carol or Carol of the Birds. Also, O Come O Come Emmanuel. O Holy Night does well with a Baritone or Tenor voice. Look also at Star of the East

I would have listed a couple of lovely aussie songs for you but they are hard to get sound bite of. However, you could try this one "Carol of the Birds" or "Mary and Joseph's Lullaby"

This is a VERY tough one--I have a difficult time finding REAL Christmas songs myself. In compiling The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration (Waco, TX: Word Music, 1986), the editors wisely included some (near-)contemporary songs in the subsection Jesus Our Savior: His Birth:

Jesu Bambino, by Pietro Yann. He was the church organist in one of NY City's major churches for most of his life ( in America) This song is just about 100 years old, so it's right in there with the old stuff, but not many people sing it. For a good crash course, Luciano Pavarotti recorded it on one of his Christmas albums. Needa a good solid technique, and a wide range. Check it out!
