Do kids in high school know this song?

I really want to sing the song "sway" by the pussycat dolls or michael buble for this karaoke thing we have at my school and my mom and friends have been telling me to sing it because its one of my personal favorite songs ever for a long time and they know I sing that song with a lot of power and passion and in a way that you know i'm commited to singing it right( and also because they like how my voice sounds in it, like classic), but the only problem is that I don't know if many people at my school like or even know the song when they just want to listen to other songs such as soulja boy. I don't have anything against soulja boy, its just that its a crowd pleaser for kids nowadays and I don't know if they'll boo sway. help?

i know that song, you should sing it. maybe not everyone would know it but i don't think it would be a big problem. they'll get to know it and like it or not - nevermind, they'll hear how you sing and it is the only important thing :)

sorry, i've never heard of it. you should sing 'bubbly' by colbie calliat or 'these words' by natasha bedingfield. i love those songs. just ask your friends and other kids in school who their favorite artists and songs are. good luck

i love that song. and if you really sing it the way you say you do then it should be awesome. Im in high school and i know that song but i cant speak for everyone. But i very much doubt that they are going to boo you just cause they dont know the song. go for it and good luck!!

Im 15 so im in high school...ive never heard the song before but just sing what you feel you should....im sure they wont boo you as long as you sing well.....

I love that song! One of my fave's and something you can dance to! If they don't know it well, they will like it now!!! And if they don't like it, they have no taste!

Go for it. I know what it's like to like something that no one likes. I live in the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad and I like Country music ( oldies and some of todays) , classical music,alternative rock, and oldies. they call me sap once someone even called me racist but its MY preference and noone could take it away from me. :) so go and sing your heart out! have some hun an good luck! :-D

im 14 and i know that song, if you can sing it then you have great talent, its quite hard to sing so you should be proud that you can sing it, anyway dont worry about what others think, i hate the fact that people only like one style of music!!
