How can you control your breathing while singing? |
Im singing 2 fast songs : Flat on the floor by Carrie Underwood and He said she Said By Ashley Tisdale..HOw can i control my breathing so i dont sound bad while singing Simple solution. Make sure you have enough air to sing the notes and if you don't, try to make the slightest sound of breathing as you can while you are singing. You won't sound bad if you run out of air and you have to breathe in, you jsut have to know how when to breathe. do NOT take in deep, dramatic breaths of air because then no one will be focused on your singing or the song. practice as much as possible so you have good timing on the songs and can breathe in quickly and silently. Try having some breathing excercizes done. If none of this works, try to get some singing lessons or have someone who is great at singing help you. i dont think you can but when you get a second take a breath or you'll sound like kelly clarkson during halftime at the cowboys game...she was awful. But i dont think it is possibe, just like trying to breath when drinking a glass of water. You will be fine! do breathing exercises to help you hold out longer on singing. One thing i do is mark in the words/music (Not sure how you are singing these) where to breathe. Go through the songs and see how the phrasing works ( I havent heard either of them). Usually by the periods you can breathe. If you really have to, take catch breaths but never break up words. If you are basically a singer, then you can do it more easily. |
