I love to sing but I dont have the best singing voice :]]]]] haha but I would really like it if anybody knew of some things that could improve my voice?.like some excersizes or anything..
thanks all comments are greatly apprecieated. BTW..the 2nd. answer..thats not even funny..i may be blonde but im not that blonde. Wake up in the morning and do the below for 7 days
then see the difference
Here is the Process
Step 1:
First take Your First note (Middle Scale)
Say aaaa.... constantly for 10 Seconds
Step 2:
Sing the next below note for 15 Seconds
Step 3:
Sing the next below note for 20 Seconds
Repeat the same process until you can sing the very below note. Don't sing the High note right after singing below notes, There should be 1 Hrs gap after practice.
Stop for Day 1,
Do the same for 7 days, Now see the difference.
Now you can sing low and High notes without any problem.
If you practice this for 6 Months then Think of your Range.
All the very best...
Say: Don't try to learn everything in One day, Practice makes Man Perfect. Remember this. heather...your singing voice is just fine! I think its good... i just laugh at everything you know. Just keep singing the scales and keep trying and you will get better if you really want to. Wake up early in the morning.
Try to read a paragraph uttering with sound voice.
Relax for five minutes.
Then try to sing a melodious song with your own voice. Correct the voice yourself as you wish.
Don't take Ice cream.
Go to river enter into deep spot and stop till the water reaches your neck.
Sing with loud voice.
If there is no river go to swimming pool do it as specified above.
Practice for a month and then see the result.
You will find a sweet voice of yours. i've been singing for about 8 years. im 16 now & i can sing just about anything cuz ive trained myself. but thats all...just train yourself. you cant say it enough but PRACTICE! =]
some things to sing better:
--breath support. try "the rag doll". drop down to touch your toes & blow out all your air @ the same time. slowly come back up, look at the ceiling, then breathe in from your belly or diaphragm area. this helps w/ keeping long breaths while singing.
--tonal quality. all you need to do for this is do a few exercises. (even though i know you do, try these. )
1. sirens(or high or low sighs). make an oval shape with your mouth and sigh high or low.
2. practice your solfege a few times.
--facial expression. you cant go wrong with this. with EVERY and ANY song you do, have some facial expression. keep eyes open, not tired. try to feel the mood of the song before you start. also, pretend as if you have a paintbrush on your nose. then let the air in front of you be your canvas and mose your head slightly around so you have ENERGY! =]
--posture. feet flat. feet should be aligned with shoulder width. always pay attention to the conductor or director. posture always helps with your singing so you're not slumping and close your diaphragm for no breath support.
i would give you more exercises but its kinda hard to explain online.
maybe if you youtube it. just look up singing exercises. =]
hope i helped. |
