What is an R&B song I could sing at my talent show to show off my voice and vocal range?

I don't want a song that has a lot of airplay right now or somewhere between 2000s-2007. I think i'm a Mezzo-soprano or a soprano, so what's a song I could sing? I'm already singing "Time after time" by cyndi lauper and this song is really easy to sing and it's hard for me to put more soul into the song. It's alright if the song is a known favourite like Time after Time or an unknown one.

If you have a beautiful voice and decent vocal range, watch the movie "Dreamgirls" and choose one of those songs. Watch Jennifer Hudson who plays Effie. She pours herself into a song and it's quite impressive.

OK, sing "no one" by alicia keys or..."LISTEN" by beyonce those songs are really good or try one of christina aguilara's song she has a nice voice

if you are a really good singer, and yuo have a good vibrato, then i would suggest one from a musical.
the musical is "Aida"
the song is 'Easy as Life' or 'I know the truth'
for both you should be able to hit the notes, but they are songs that you should be confident with before singing
