This is kinda stupid but its killing me...help please!?

umm...ok well i can sing REALLY good [sorry i dont mean to brag] but anyways, im to shy to let anyone hear me but i know i can sing really good and ive been singing since i was 5.the only people who knows that i can sing good are my mother,father,and my best friend! but there's a talent show coming soon but you have to be in choir and im not in choir but i thin im ready to let people hear me,so how can i let them hear me and i need to no if im good or bad.and i want honest answers so i need a big crowd. but i dont no where i can go to let people hear me.can you help me? please thankz<3

Talk to the choir director, and tell her what you want to do, and she will almost definitely ask you to sing for her, and those are good people to sing in front of cause they know so much.

Other than that, I don't know.

I don't know...maybe try and get all your friends and their families together to listen to you sing and see what they think. That's really all I can tell you...Good luck!

get with two or three other friends and start getting the song you want to sing as lead and enter the talent show. Good Luck!!

Singing solo is harder in front of people, so choir is a great place to start. You sing and practise in a group and get experience performing.

Before you scoff at this, remember that a great many singers have started in the church choir....

you dont need to be shy i was too but now i know if i can sing really good why be shy its not like they are going to laugh at you if u believe in your self you wont be shy try this try turing around and pretend no one is there then start singing and in the beging i felt nerves and it was hard but then i really got into the song and it felt like i was in a whole different world then i turned around and i didnt feel so nerves anymore and now i cant sing in front of lots of people and i dont get shy any more.

put some videos on youtube. some people have got recording contacts from it

go busking on the street. maybe in a town where you are not well known.
if you can sing you will get better at it.
watching all that money going into your hat or what ever is a big confidence booster.
strangers will always let you know if you are good or not.
you will be seen to be trying to improve yourself,people always appreciate this.

you will get a big crowd,but it will keep moving.
